

My adventure with Oxford Community Church has had some distinct ‘chapters’ of different activity over the years, one of which has been my employment as a full-time administrator since 2010, supporting the people and ministry of the church in very practical ways. This particular chapter is now coming to an end, and so I wanted to share with you all a brief summary of what has led to this decision.

We have updated our safeguarding policy and training materials, and we need to refresh your training in this important area, to ensure that we improve our care even further for the children entrusted to us. Because the safeguarding policy has changed significantly, we are re-training everyone involved in these areas, even if they were trained relatively recently.
The training will be delivered via Zoom, with a large amount of pre-recorded video that can be viewed together, with hosts (Andrew Clark, Hannah Robertshaw) who will facilitate group discussion and ensure questions are answered.

Please do join us to talk, pray, and simply fellowship together. You can drop in for as long or as short a time as you want. After an initial welcome all together, it’s likely we will break into smaller breakout groups to mix and mingle.
