As well as enjoying meeting together on Sunday mornings, we love Community Groups - small groups that exist to make big church small.
During Autumn 2024, we are renewing our vision for local Community Groups, with existing and new groups meeting across the city.
These groups are the backbone of our church life, discipleship and mission - groups of people meeting to share life during the week, and enjoying their relationships with God, together and with their wider community.
Community Groups meet mostly in homes week to week, as modelled in Acts 2:42-47. They take time to pray and share God's word together, care for one another, and build relationship.
Look out for details about new Community Groups in the bulletin and on Sundays through the autumn, and if you're not sure which Community Group to connect with, please:

If you live beyond the city, in Abingdon, Bicester, Banbury, Didcot, Witney or even as far as Cheltenham - you may be living really close to others in our Advance family of churches.
