Oxford Community Church is related in several ways to other churches. These wider relationships are very important to us: we believe a church can do more together with others than on its own, and these wider relationships also provide accountability and support. They also reflect our history of church planting.
We are part of Oxfordshire Community Churches, a group of 12 churches that work together as a single charity. Within that, we work very closely with Lifehouse church (Bicester, Banbury). We run various joint events and courses, and share a vision for mission and church planting in our region.
Looking beyond the county we are part of the Salt & Light Advance family of churches (Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and beyond), which is turn is part of Salt & Light International.
As well as partnering with churches in other nations, we support workers in several different nations, in Asia, Africa and Europe. We prioritise a focus on Unreached People Groups and church planting through holistic mission, in partnership with World Horizons and another agency. Details of specific teams are not listed here because of security or profile concerns.
We work closely together with other churches in the City of Oxford, including through our partnership in the Love Oxford initiative.
We are church members of Evangelical Alliance UK and subscribe to their basis of faith.
