Join us for our 2025 Church Weekend Away as part of OCC's 40th birthday celebrations!
Over the last 9 months, we have been on a journey of exploring our identity, through a series on biblical images of the church, and by looking at Jesus through the letter to the Hebrews, and how his life, death and resurrection have opened up a new way of living in relationship with God. We’ve seen that God has a glorious purpose for his church, and for each of his followers. He wants us to shed our often-small and limited self-understanding, to grow in courage and confidence, and step into the full, beautiful identity He has for us!
It’s our conviction that there’s more God wants to do in this area.
The Lord has spoken to us about growth and expansion, so that we can be a greater blessing to this city, the nation, and the nations. At our church weekend away, we’re expecting God to catalyse significant change in us, as individuals, and as a community. Through our worship, teaching and ministry, we’re trusting that He will speak to us powerfully, set us free from things that have held us back, and call us further into His purposes.
The weekend will be held at Highgate House, Northamptonshire, NN6 8NN (1hr 15 drive), 6pm on Friday 23rd May until 3pm on Sunday 25th May. This will be a great opportunity to hang out and enjoy time together, and we will have kids activities arranged for the weekend, led by Al and Caroline McNicoll.
We’re in the process of finalising plans, so it would really help us to know if you will be coming. Please do book your place! We have a limited number of bursaries available, so if finances are a challenge, please speak to us so we can see how we can help.
We look forward to spending the weekend together, and we’re excited for all God has in store!
