Autumn 2019 teaching series looking at various people in the Bible, and what we learn about how God 'forges' his DNA into his people.
In this series...
Steve spoke about how God cares, God calls, God conquers. Giving as an example the life of Moses, who was born as a slave, raised as a prince and and then becoming a leader that helped a nation to be free.
The second part of the talk (from 21:43) is a powerful testimony from Steve Beegoo, speaking of the impact of his Mauritian heritage on his life today. You can also read his story here: http://oxford.occ.org.uk/blog/those-who-are-free-can-free-others
Forged by God, by his power to become what he intends for us to be. Prayer is a way to invite God`s intervention, sustaining, support and power to be at work. Action combined with prayer is how we see God`s victory, it is a synergy between prayer and action.
Steve spoke about Christian life as being a relationship with God and in this relationship we reveal ourselves to God, relationships are energised by desire, relationships require forgiveness and God has made a way to assure us that he will forgive us as needed.
Sanjay and Jenny share with us how God has made us to 'funnel' what He entrusts to us, so that we can bless others and be rich towards Him. Are you a funnel, allowing God's provision to flow through you, or a bucket that stores up blessings rather than sharing them?
