This Sunday, Liam speaks to us about communion as an act of worship. Steve and Bev Jones lead our meeting, with Jeremy Blakey leading us in worship.

It is also the third of our Gift Days this Sunday. OCC has always desired to bless the whole city, the region, and the nations, but the church's regular income alone isn't enough for our high level of giving and growth. We hope that these Gift Days act as a nudge to get us all into the groove of generosity - everyone is invited to add an offering. You can find out more on our Gift Days 2023 page. And if you would like to give, you can do so online here by choosing 'Oxford Gift Days'.

This Sunday, Guest Speaker, Wendy Mann speaks to us. Wendy has been a regular speaker on our School of the Spirit, having helped us set it up, when she was leading a similar school (Training for Supernatural Ministry) at the King's Arms Church, Bedford. Wendy is passionate about seeing Christians become all God has created them to be. She believes that the life Jesus modelled is meant to be the normal Christian life for every believer: when we know who God is as our Father and who He says we are as dearly loved sons and daughters, we will naturally release the Kingdom of God wherever we have influence.

Dan Kirk and Liam Thatcher lead our meeting with Jeremy Blakey leading us in worship.

The week, we joined Lifehouse Community Church at their Bicester site.

Oxford Community Church and Lifehouse Community Church came together to celebrate what God is doing across central and northern Oxfordshire, to strengthen our relationships as churches working closely together, and to pray into all that God is doing.

We enjoyed an extended time of worship and ministry, hearing from Liam Thatcher, formerly teaching pastor of Christchurch London, and now a member of Oxford Community Church. Worship led by Rich Houghton (Lifehouse) and a joint band.

The service was hosted by Steve and Bev Jones (OCC) and Mark Eley (Lifehouse).
