Exploring membership

The Bible describes the Christian community as a household (Ephesians 2:19), a body (1 Corinthians 12:12-31), and a temple made up of “living stones” (1 Peter 2:45, Ephesians 2:21). All of these speak of our unity and need for each other.

Paul asked the Philippian church to be one in heart and mind and purpose (Philippians 2:2). The process of exploring church membership allows you to learn about the way that current church members relate to one another (heart), what we believe (mind) and what we are focused on (purpose).

If you've been around OCC for more than few months, we recommend you get along to the next Exploring Membership evening, to understand more about what we stand for - our vision and values.

For details of the next Exploring Membership event, please check our calendar, or ask the church office.
