This Sunday, we are celebrating our 40th Birthday! We're going to look back at what God has done over the past 4 decades, and look forward to all He has in store for the future.
After the service there will be loads of activities, and we'll be celebrating together until 3pm. Here's how you can join in:
- Lunch - We will be having a bring and share lunch and we'd love you to help us create a feast fit for our 40th! If your surname begins with A-M we'd suggest bringing something savoury, and if your surname begins N-Z you could bring something sweet. Please label food with allergens.
- Bake Off - We will also be having a Great OCC Bake Off!! So budding bakers, do bring along your creations! This is open to all ages, so you can enter as a family and include kids, and there will be prizes. Please register here.
- Volunteers - And we could also do with some volunteers to make it all happen. So if you're able to lend a hand at any point during the day, please sign up here.
Joshua led God’s people into the promised land. But his ministry – though remarkable - was incomplete. In this talk, Sanjay Mahtani looks at the Sabbath rest that is available through Jesus, and what it means for us to be a people of rest.
Hebrews praises Moses as a faithful servant of God. But Jesus is far greater than Moses ever was. In this talk, Andy O’Connell looks at Hebrews 3 and what it means to be the house of God, hearing and heeding the voice of Christ.
In this sermon, guest speaker Pastor Dr Fred Safo Church, of Pentecost UK, spoke on the power of reflection. He encouraged us to reflect on the reason and basis for our faith, so that we can live lives worthy of the calling we’ve received.
Although Jesus is the exalted one, Hebrews tells us he was made lower than the angels, suffering and tasting death for us. In this talk, Steve Jones looks at Hebrews 2, and considers how Jesus took on flesh to bring us into his family.
If you’ve ever wondered what God is like, Jesus leaves us in no doubt. In the opening talk of our series, Liam Thatcher unpacks Hebrews 1 and shows how Jesus is the radiance of God’s glory; the exact representation of his being; the creator and sustainer of all things.
Join us for our last Sunday service of 2024 as we take time to reflect on the last year together and look ahead to 2025.
If you would like to gather on New Years Eve itself, our friends at PIWC are hosting a watchnight service, to worship and pray in the new year. And they have invited us to join them. This will take place at The King's Centre from 21.00-00.30 on Tuesday 31st December.
Join us for our final service before Christmas! We will enjoy time together, sing some carols, and Danielle Watkis will speak to us about the message of Jesus' birth.
You are warmly invited to join us to celebrate the message of Christmas, with carols, readings, a short talk, and activities for all the family. Followed by festive refreshments.
Download the invitation and share with your friends.
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus used a selection of images to describe his people: salt, light, and a city on a hill. In the final talk of this series, we consider what it means for the church to be visible, so that people might see our good deeds and glorify God.
