Every local church is a part of the global body of Christ. It matters a lot that we don’t just act independently, but have real relationships with other local churches. We are pleased to have some very good relationships with others, including the following:

For nearly 20 years, we have convened a monthly prayer time for pastors from across Oxford. In 2005, this network of friendships provided a base out of which arose a wider movement of churches in the city, which finds expression in the annual ‘Love Oxford’ event, when about 50 churches cancel their normal Sunday worship and we all meet together.

Beginning with just two churches in West Oxfordshire in the 1970s, more than 12 other congregations have since been started. We are one of them, and every other month all of these churches (and a few more!) meet together at The King’s Centre in Oxford for a celebration.
Oxfordshire Community Churches also provides our charitable structure, and we are engaged in a wide range of ministry together, including the King’s School in Witney for children aged 3 to 16.

We are also a part of a wider movement called 'Salt and Light', made up of churches much like our own. This movement extends beyond Europe to Africa, Asia, America and even 'down under' in New Zealand. Leaders from across Europe gather together once a year for fellowship and equipping, and we have much-valued relationships with people in churches in many nations. We have sent people to start and to help lead churches in other nations, including France, Poland, Spain and Canada. The ‘Salt&Light’ training college, which offers an accredited Certificate of Higher Education, is currently based at The King’s Centre in Oxford.
