Children

...whoever welcomes a little child in my name welcomes me. (Matthew 18:5)

We believe that children are a precious gift from God, and that parents and the wider community have significant influence on their development. As a church we want to provide environments in which children can engage with one another and with God, learning about themselves and Him. We want to see childrens' lives positively transformed, which we recognise happens when they meet the living God and learn to love and obey Him.

On Sunday mornings we run several groups with age-appropriate activities for kids aged 0 to 14, including craft, play, drama and stories, all based on a biblical foundation. Through the week, church members are also involved in specific groups that provide both social, educational and character-development benefits for children and their carers, like Family Fun, Guides and Rangers.

In order to safeguard the children entrusted to our care we have a Child Protection Policy for all of our activities, and all our staff and volunteers who work with children are trained and CRB-checked regularly.
