report UPDATED 6:30pm SATURDAY 6 JANUARY

With recent rainfall, access to Osney Mead is currently not possible for regular cars.

Environment Agency advice is that although levels are starting to fall they will remain high for some time. However, access of foot from Osney Island is good (see below), even though other towpaths in Oxford are closed.

We are therefore proceeding with our onsite Sunday service, as well as streaming for those unable to get onsite. If you are able to make it, you will be warmly welcomed on arrival :-)

Parking at Seacourt Park & Ride is currently closed, but city bus services are still operating.

We will update this page as conditions develop.

On Sunday 5th November 2023, we will be joining with our family of churches for our Advance Celebration Day!

We will be commissioning Rich and Anna Ellwood as they step into leading the Advance team and hearing from guest speaker Colin Baron, who will help us find our place in God's purpose for us to be a family of churches moving forward with common vision and purpose.

The day will include worship, preaching, children and youth activities, prayer ministry, and lunch. After lunch, we will have a fun-packed afternoon with activities for all ages, including Adventure+ bringing their climbing wall and other activities, and there will also be a wide range of other options and seminars.

Timetable and lots more information here (including to register as a volunteer): www.advancechurches.uk/events/celebration23

Important: You must pre-register your children and youth for their activities during the Sunday morning celebration service. Please click the button below.

Travel: As we host this event at The King's Centre, please release parking spaces for guests from further afield, by considering alternative means of travel.

And, please also note there will be a weekend closure of the A34 southbound from Peartree to Botley interchange. We recommend you check the route on Google Maps before you drive and consider alternatives.
